We're excited to announce the addition of support for DNS backups from Loopia, one of Scandinavia's largest hosting providers.
This enhancement allows you to manage your daily Loopia DNS backups alongside your other DNS records. You'll receive notifications when changes occur, have the ability to review those changes, and conveniently download all your zone files in one bundle.
Supported DNS record types
Loopia accommodates a range of common DNS records, including A, AAAA, CERT, CNAME, HIP, IPSECKEY, LOC, MX, NAPTR, SRV, SSHFP, TXT, TLSA, and CAA—all of which are supported by Domain Backup.
However, please note that Loopia does not support the helpful yet unofficial ALIAS or ANAME records, which allow you to direct a root domain to another hostname.
Adding a Loopia account to Domain Backup
It is easy to add one or more Loopia accounts to Domain Backup. All you have to do is to is to create and API user and add the API key to the account page.
